Creative Direction & Brand Alignment

As the multimedia designer behind the Zouk visuals, I worked closely with our marketing team to shape a direction that feels both creative and strategic. The goal was to build visuals that look beautiful, but also reflect the real value behind BMA’s color collections.

Cloud Dancer and Teal were selected as two strong color stories that represent modern interior trends and the emotional power of color. They’re part of our broader palette in both water-based and solvent-based collections, designed to help people bring their spaces to life.

“Because spaces are felt before they are understood.”

Teal: Confidence in Color

Inspired by fashion and beauty, the Teal visual expresses confidence through clarity, contrast, and subtle sophistication. Chosen by WGSN and Coloro, Teal reflects the shift toward bolder, more expressive interiors.

The composition focuses on reveal and movement: • A torn teal surface frames the scene, suggesting change • Contrast balances boldness with refinement • Paint becomes an active element that adds depth and character

Materiality & Visual Storytelling

Even with a conceptual direction, the visual stays grounded in paint. The torn surface behaves like a real painted layer, with texture, weight, and curled edges. The woman holding the brush represents confidence, creativity, and ownership of space. Her burgundy attire echoes BMA’s bucket color, linking product, persona, and environment.color3.jpeg

Cloud Dancer: Lightness and Calm

Cloud Dancer tells a softer, more contemplative story. Inspired by its name, paint is expressed as light, airy, and effortless, moving with the ease of clouds, while the BMA bucket remains central, grounding the visual in product reality.

Cloud Dancer celebrates white in its most refined form. White may look simple, but it is one of the toughest colors to master, and BMA’s white finishes are built to meet the highest international standards.

This calm is reinforced through: • White tones aligned with Pantone’s Color of the Year • Architecture inspired by the essence of Greek art • An elevated yet restrained space that reflects clarity, balance, and calm living

“Strength doesn’t always need to be loud.”

A Brand Built on Intention

Together, the Zouk visuals reflect BMA’s commitment to beauty, refinement, and innovation. Every detail shows paint not just as a product, but as a tool that shapes how spaces feel and how people live.

BMA supports intentional choices, transforming surfaces into environments that feel personal, expressive, and emotionally meaningful.

“Design is the silent ambassador of your brand.”

Seeing this project evolve from early brainstorming to final visuals has been incredibly rewarding. Working at BMA has taught me to think in layers; how color, texture, and design come together to tell a story, because every choice has to earn its place.

Being part of a team that treats paint as art has inspired me into thinking and delivering the message that BMA offers not just paint, but a sense of beauty and energy.
